Years ago I became an "insta-mom", slightly different from a stepmom since I literally became the main parent of a kiddo with some pretty big hurdles to overcome/manage.  After years of research on how to best help him navigate through some of his challenges (spectrum disorder), I stumbled upon the concept of a higher fat/protein, organic, pesticide free, zero processed foods type diet for kiddo's with attention/anxiety issues.  We ditched the cereal for scrambled eggs and haven't looked back.  As a family we took the concept further in July 2011 and became grain free entirely.  My husband has experienced notable changes in asthma issues and I have completely eliminated gastrointestinal issues from doing so.  We both see first hand daily how our nutritional approach assists in parenting two little ones and optimal nutrition is the backbone to our healthy, happy family.  

I don't preach the Paleo/Primal lifestyle but I live it and therefore receive a lot of questions and requests for guidance - I'm happy to share what I've learned and you may find a recipe post every so often as well!
